HyperScience and UiPath are both enterprise software for automating business processes. They support document recognition, automatic data entry, interaction with user interfaces and offer tools and scenarious for integrating existing enterprise management systems (ERP, CRM, etc.). They help reduce manual labor, improve data quality and speed up operations.

However, Hyperscience (founded in 2014) is US-based software that focuses on document processing: extracting data from paper/scanned forms and semi-structured documents. The company uses machine learning and AI models for document classification, handwriting recognition, automatic tagging and structuring. It supports up-training of models on the customer's own data. It positions itself as an input-to-outcome automation platform for enterprises and government organizations.

UiPath (2005) is a Romanian RPA system that automates any repetitive computer tasks using "robots" created in a visual IDE. The system uses computer vision and neural networks to recognize user interface elements and integrates with GenAI models to create AI agents that understand tasks on human language. UiPath supports integration with low-code tools, automation development environments, orchestration systems and offers process mining analytics.
