These startups create AI-powered humanoid and non-humanoid robots that can autonomously implement intelligent tasks.
1
1X
Country: Norway | Funding: $136.5M
1X is developing Neo - intelligent humanoid robot for home use that automates household chores and brings useful insight into every conversation. The company has created a proprietary artificial intelligence model that understands real-world dynamics and can help robots learn new information autonomously. It uses a combination of video and cues to imbue Neo robots with new abilities. The robot takes video data associated with specific cues and feeds it back into a model of the surrounding world. This model is then fed to a network of robots to give them a better understanding of the physical world and greater knowledge. This behavioral information can help 1X train these models to the point where robots can respond to cues they never did before.
2
Mentee Robotics
Country: Israel | Funding: $17M
Mentee Robotics develops humanoid robots. Its V3 robot stands 175 cm tall, weighs 70 kg and can lift up to 25 kg. The robot's intelligence includes a system of movement, manipulation and decision-making designed for real-world use, not controlled laboratory conditions. The company envisions applications for warehouse robots - autonomously picking boxes from piles of varying heights and placing them across multiple racks. The startup was acquired by Mobileye but continues to operate as an independent division.

Its depth-camera supports Power over Ethernet and has built-in AI chip for image processing. The startup is an Intel spinoff and has a strategic partnership with NVIDIA (to create an AI robotic platform Jetson Thor Series). The company develops computer vision systems for robotics in various sectors, including healthcare, industrial automation and security. RealSense also partners with several companies to produce glasses for the blind, including Eyesynth.
5
UBTECH Robotics
Country: China | Funding: $2.3B
UBTECH Robotics develops humanoid robots for manufacturing, service sector and households. Its proprietary ROSA platform, which combines robotics and AI technologies, enables the company to create robots with the three key characteristics of the human body (joint movement), brain (perception) and cerebellum (movement planning and control). The robot (Walker) stands 170 cm tall and has anthropometric dimensions. Thanks to a dynamic balancing algorithm similar to the human body, it can tilt 170 degrees and carry a payload of up to 15 kg. It can independently charge its batteries and schedule battery replacement or charging according to task priorities. Walker's head is equipped with a binocular computer stereo vision system with RGB illumination. It uses deep-learning-based stereo depth estimation algorithms to create highly accurate, left-aligned, dense depth maps in real time. The robot uses LLM model for interacting with people via speaker and microphone.
6
Figure
Country: USA | Funding: $2B
Figure creates humanoid robots with artificial intelligence. Figure is designed for home use - it performs household tasks such as laundry, cleaning and washing dishes completely autonomously. It uses Helix - an AI engine that allows it to navigate the unpredictable, ever-changing home environment. Helix is a universal humanoid vision-language-action model that learns and improves over time, acquiring new skills. Helix controls the entire cycle: perception, movement and reasoning, both onboard and in real time (making it an AGI contender). This allows Figure 03 to independently think and complete tasks without following a script. Figure has an optimized design with high arm dexterity and a look suitable for everyday life.
7
SkildAI
Country: USA | Funding: $1.8B

Developers can create their own AI algorithms and applications on the Skild platform using an API. The company is also developing its own universal humanoid robot model. The startup has strategic partnerships with LG CNS and Hewlett Packard Enterprise to develop its ecosystem.
8
Exotec
Country: France | Funding: $449.6M
Skypod manufactures autonomous mobile robots for warehouses. They quickly move virtually any type of container between racks, workstations and exchanges. They can carry up to 30 kg at speeds of up to 4 m/s. Exotec mobile robots are semi-autonomous. Perfect order picking from robot to robot requires strict centralized control to ensure that robots arrive at the right location at the right time. Therefore, Exotec is developing an intelligent robot fleet management system that tracks and controls the entire fleet of robots in warehouse in real time. This system precisely determines the route of each robot.
9
Apptronik
Country: USA | Funding: $431.8M

Apollo has a body shape and size similar to a human's, allowing it to navigate spatially and use our tools and equipment. This makes interaction with humans natural and enables it to perform tasks that would be difficult or impossible for other types of robots. Apollo has a modular design and can be mounted on any mobile platform, whether stationary or fully mobile with legs. Thanks to hot-swappable batteries, each rated for four hours of operation, Apollo can continue working simply by replacing the battery rather than charging it from the mains while not in use. When needed, Apollo can be connected to a charger or tethered to the mains for continuous operation.
